FULL RESULTS
WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College men's track & field team captured a second-place finish at the Conference of New England Championships Saturday at the Brigham Athletic Complex, the highest finish in program history.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
- Will Hughes earned a first-place finish in the high jump with a meet record mark of 1.95 meters. He also placed third in the triple jump at the meet.
- Elijah Wisdom posted a victory in the triple jump with a mark of 14.09 meters and secured second in the long jump with a leap of 6.61 meters.
- Gordon's 4x100 meter relay quartet of Elijah Wisdom, Justin Herzog, Mikey Poteau, and Will Hughes broke the school record with a time of 42.99 seconds to capture a second-place finish.
- Dylan Curtis grabbed a pair of podium finishes as he placed third in the discus throw and shot put with a school-record toss of 13.97 meters.
- Mikey Poteau finished third in the 110-meter hurdles while Justin Herzog claimed third in the 200 meters.

Jacob Dyer was announced as this year's recipient of the CNE Men's Track & Field Elite 21 Award as the student-athlete with the highest GPA competing at this weekend's championship meet.
