WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College softball team dropped a conference doubleheader to Endicott Wednesday afternoon, falling 11-0 and 9-1.


GAME ONE
THE BASICS:
Score: Gordon 0, Endicott 11
Records: Fighting Scots (8-12, 1-4 CNE) | Gulls (10-8, 5-1 CNE)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Endicott rattled off nine runs in the bottom of the first inning to command an early 9-0 lead.
• The Gulls added a pair of runs in the fourth to stretch their advantage to 11-0.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Samantha Perkins (Tewksbury, Mass.) registered Gordon's only hit in the tilt.
• Katie Melendy (Easton, Mass.) started in the pitcher's circle before Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) and Kassie Snowman (Saint Albans, Maine) made relief appearances.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Endicott tallied one run in the bottom of the first inning to seize a 1-0 edge.
• The Gulls tacked on three runs in the fourth to widen the gap to 4-0.
• Gordon got on the board in the top of the fifth, scoring one run to cut the deficit to 4-1. Emily Hutchins (Kennebunkport, Maine) tagged up and scampered home from third base on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Makayla Falco (Warwick, R.I.).
• Endicott manufactured five runs in the home half of the fifth inning to clinch its third-straight win.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Emily Hutchins (Kennebunkport, Maine) notched one hit and one run scored.
• Lizzie DeRusha (Nashua, N.H.) landed one base knock.
• Makayla Falco (Warwick, R.I.) collected one RBI.
• Emilie Adelmann (Upland, Calif.) tossed 3.2 innings and Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) worked one inning in the pitcher's circle.
