LA CROSSE, Wis.- Junior Alivia Geraghty (Barkhamsted, Conn.) of the Gordon College women's track & field team placed 17th in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin Saturday at Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
 
Geraghty posted a mark of 51.82 meters in her second throw of the day before concluding the competition with a toss of 51.67 meters.
 
Saturday marked Geraghty's first career appearance at the NCAA Track & Field Championships.
