WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College field hockey team endured a 2-0 loss to Western New England Saturday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex in the first Conference of New England contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After three scoreless quarters of action, Western New England found the back of the net twice in the fourth frame to escape with a 2-0 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Elizabeth Holden (North Hampton, N.H.) and Emma Kyes (Reading, Mass.) each registered one shot on goal in the game.
- Haylee Briggs (Plymouth, Mass.) posted 11 saves in her fourth start of the year.
- The Fighting Scots managed a pair of shot attempts on the afternoon while the Golden Bears racked up 22 shots.
