WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback against Hartford Saturday at the Brigham Athletic Complex to begin Conference of New England action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hartford got on the board in the 38th minute to grab a 1-0 lead. Sara Rieger buried her second marker of the season as Kathleen Brush picked up an assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) fired a team-best four shots and Marin Peterson (White Bear Lake, Minn.) posted a pair of shot attempts.
- In goal, Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) tallied four saves.
- Both squads attempted 10 shots in the match while Hartford owned an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
