NORTHAMPTON, Mass.- The Gordon College field hockey team fell to Maine-Farmington 2-0 Sunday in the consolation game of the Carly Newhof Classic hosed by Smith College.

  • Maine-Farmington scored a pair of goals in the first quarter to claim a 2-0 lead.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
  • LilyAnna Hopkins (Stillwater, N.Y.) recorded a team-high five shots while Hannah Amadon (Hershey, Pa.) produced three shot attempts.
  • Haylee Briggs (Plymouth, Mass.) finished with eight saves in her third start of the year.
  • The Fighting Scots fired 13 shots in the contest while the Beavers registered 15 shot attempts.
