Any Boat. Any Seat. Any Day.

If that sounds like you, we might be the perfect fit for you! Gordon Rowing is a community of athletes looking to deepen our understanding of God and his grace by laying it all out on the water. We’re a primarily sculling program, with a focus on doubles, and while we’re technically a club sport, we strive to be among the most competitive athletes on our campus and in the ACRA league. We train all year: head races in the fall, mobility and erg work in the winter, and our championship season in the spring.

Our proximity to Boston lends itself to all kinds of opportunities on the rowing front, whether it’s CRI’s Institute for Coaching or Riverside’s U23 program, or summer coaching jobs with local crews. We also sponsor our own local club, Gordon Rowing Association, and lean heavily on our undergraduate coaching staff for all facets of club operation.

Who We’re Looking For:

Scullers! Lightweights! We love coming alongside committed athletes who got stuck in the bow seat of the 2V all through high school because they aren’t “the right size” but who could really make things happen in a smaller boat like a double. We also really appreciate the sweep rower who is excited to get over an injury or hasn’t had much time in a single but is attracted to the accountability of small boats.

Specifically, we’re looking for a 7:15.0 or lower for light guys and a 6:56.0 or lower for open guys.
