A 2011 graduate of Eastern Nazarene College with a degree in Journalism. Rivera spent time split between the mound and the outfield during his time with ENC.
Was an assistant at ENC for two seasons and responsible for the fielders, two of which would receive all conference honors. Also responsible for the recruitment of future student athletes.
Spent the 2014 season as the pitching coach of Fitchburg State University. Fitchburg's pitching staff would post a 3.96 earned run average along with the breaking of multiple school records. Rivera was also responsible for scouting opposing offenses and recruiting potential student athletes.Â
Currently resides in Quincy, Mass.
