Kyle Bouchard has been elevated to the interim head baseball coach in July of 2024.
Bouchard was named to Head Coach Tad Skelley’s coaching staff as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator in 2023. Previously, Bouchard was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at conference foe Nichols College.
In his first season coaching at his alma mater, the Bison set program records for home runs (33) and total bases (599) while the pitching staff fanned a single-season record 362 batters.
As the lead assistant Bouchard helped the Bison capture the 3rd seed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, while 4 players were name to All Conference Teams. Under Bouchard there has been 7 All Conference Selections and 2 All Region players in Nathaniel Cormier and Brennan Hyde.
One of the most decorated student-athletes in the history of Nichols College, Bouchard was a four-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference honoree and the 2021 CCC Player of the Year. As a senior in 2021, he was named to the D3baseball.com All-New England First Team and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-New England Second Team as well as D3baseball.com 4th Team All-America. Bouchard was also named to the NEIBA Division III All Star team.
Bouchard graduated as the all-time leader in games played (155), doubles (41), RBI (149), and total bases (303) at Nichols, and second in both hits (205) and home runs (19).
