TJ Murphy enters his first season with the Scots. Murphy previously coached at Suffolk University where he was primarily the hitting coach and outfield coach. During the 2014 season he led the Rams to a conference best .340 team batting average, as well as an ECAC championship, the first in school history.

This past summer, Murphy was the head coach of the Braves in the North Shore Baseball League, leading the team to a playoff berth their first season in the league.

Murphy played his college career at Saint Anselm College where he was a four-year starter in CF compiling a .336 average. He ranks in the top 10 for doubles, triples, hits and stolen bases in Saint Anselm school history.
