Mindy (Fowler) Brown joined the Gordon Athletic staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2013 after a successful career in both the Fighting Scots' field hockey and women's lacrosse programs.
Under Head Coach Cory Ward's guidance on the field hockey squad, Brown started every game of her four-year career, tallying seven goals and nine assists out of the Scots' defensive midfield. Named team captain her senior year, she put a stamp on her final season by earning a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Second Team nod.
Having never played lacrosse before college, Brown was a three-year member of the Scots' program and worked her way into a starting spot by her junior year, helping lead Gordon to a CCC Championship appearance in 2012.
A native of Winslow, Maine, Mindy currently resides in Beverly, Mass. with her husband Jeff.
