Zach Stevens joined the Gordon College Men's Basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2023.
Stevens began his coaching career at Plymouth State in 2017 where he inherited a team who went 10-16 overall with only two conference wins. It was there that he led the recruiting efforts with over 10 newcomers, including the Little East Rookie of the Year in 2018-19. The Panthers went 16-11 and 9-7 in league play and won their first playoff game in 15 years during the 2019-2020 season.
In 2021, Stevens went on to coach at Regis College for two years and helped take a team who won eight games the year before to a 13-12 record team. During that time, Stevens assumed the head coach role for four games and went 3-1 during that time en route to helping win a home playoff game as well as first GNAC playoff win in school history. In 2022-2023, the Pride went 14-12 and made the post season tournament for the third straight year. Stevens aided in leading the recruiting efforts for an All-GNAC rookie team member.
Stevens played at NHTI from 2011-2013 where he won the USCAA National three-point contest in 2013. Then, Stevens played at Plymouth State University from 2014-2016. Stevens holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from Plymouth State (2016) as well as a masters degree in education from Regis (2023).
