Coach Marcus Young joined the Gordon college athletic department in the fall of 2012. A graduate of Syracuse University, Coach Young has spent the last 13 years working on the North Shore as an educator.
Since the summer of 2000, Young has been coaching lacrosse year round. In addition to serving as the boy’s varsity head coach at the Brookwood School, he is also a head coach and associate director for NESLL club lacrosse. In the offseason, he runs private clinics and works with several camps including the Boston Cannons and Origin Lacrosse.
Marcus currently resides in Revere, Mass. with his wife Shalise and their two children, Ronsanto and Jordyn.
