Andrew Vandervoort joined the Men's Soccer staff in summer of 2015 as an assistant to head coach Derek Potteiger. He volunteered with the team in 2014.
Vandervoort '14 was a standout in four years as a part of the Men's Soccer program. The Memphis, Tennessee product led the Fighting Scots in scoring all four years of his career, despite battling injuries in a handful of seasons. He scored 48 career goals, including a career-high 18 his senior year. Eighteen of his 48 career goals ended up as game-winners for the Scots. He also dished out four assists to complete an 100-point career.
Twice, Vandervoort was the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year (2011, 2013) and made the postseason awards list three times. His senior year, Vandervoort was a NSCAA First-Team All-American after being among the national leaders in goals and points.
