Joel Spruance joined the Gordon Men's Soccer staff in 2011 after completing his playing career for the Fighting Scots in the fall of 2010.
As a player in the Scots' program, Spruance was instrumental in leading his team as co-captain to a The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Championship appearance in 2011, where the Scots were edged in penalty kicks to take home Runners-Up honors. For his efforts, Spruance was selected to the All-TCCC First Team.
After graduating in December 2009 with a degree in history, Spruance went on to enroll in Gordon's Master's of Education program and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in secondary education with a concentration in history. He assists Head Coach Jake DeClute in all areas of development in the men's soccer program.
