Catherine Teague

Catherine Teague joined the Gordon Tennis coaching staff in the spring of 2015, volunteering with the men’s team to help guide it to a school-record 15 wins during her first spring on campus.

A standout in a strong women’s tennis program at Wheaton College (MA), Teague was honored by the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) on numerous occasions. Most notably, she was named to the 2009 All-Singles First Team, the 2009 and 2010 All-Doubles First Team, and was the NEWMAC tournament’s most valuable player in 2010. Under her leadership, Wheaton won its conference championship in 2009 and 2010.

Since graduating, Teague coached the Trinity High School girls’ varsity team in Manchester, N.H. for the 2012 season and has also spent time as an instructor at Bath & Tennis and Sudden Pitch Tennis Club in Manchester. As passionate about service as she is tennis, she is very active in her community in homeless ministries and children’s programs. "I am greatly looking forward to joining the coaching staff at Gordon College. I have been encouraged by the beautiful relationship the athletic department supports for its student athletes between their academics and athletics, falling first under the umbrella of their faith life. I am excited to pass on my knowledge and love for the game on to others."

Teague currently resides in Manchester, N.H.
