Born in England, Brown was a nationally ranked player throughout her junior career. She came to the States in 1988 to play for Division I Rice University in Houston, Texas.
She has served as the Tennis Director at Windridge Tennis Camps in Vt., the assistant tennis coach at Amherst College and the men's and women's tennis and squash coach at Bowdoin College. She has also been teaching tennis on the North Shore for nearly 20 years, and is currently a teaching pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, Mass.
Ros lives in Beverly with her husband David and two children, Harry and Catherine.
