Sasha Duprey

A native of Concord, N.H., Sasha Duprey enters her first season as the main assistant for the Fighting Scots Women’s Volleyball program. She will assist head coach Sue Kelly in all facets.

Duprey graduated from Gordon in 2012 with a degree in Recreation, Sport and Wellness with a Sports Studies concentration and a minor in psychology. During her sophomore year at Gordon Duprey began to coach for a club in New Hampshire, the Capital Region Volleyball Club, coaching there for three years. Following graduation, Duprey moved to Florida and coached for two years at Celebration High School and the Orlando Volleyball Academy.

In late 2014, Duprey moved back to the North Shore to take a managerial position at Danvers Indoor Sports and started the Danvers Indoor Sports Volleyball Academy, a grass roots program geared towards the growth and development of volleyball on the North Shore, in 2015. Over 200 local girls have gotten instruction through the program.

Duprey also handles duties as a coach and an assistant club director for Avidity.

As a high school player, Duprey was a standout setter. During her time in Concord her team won the New Hampshire state championship and she became the first player in the state to notch 1,500 career assists.

Duprey’s older sister Chelsea (Duprey) Doughty, also an alum, served as Gordon’s assistant coach during the 2008 campaign.
