Gordon Track and Field rookie sensation Corrine Previte (Danvers, Mass.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after a standout effort at the New England Championships hosted by Springfield College on May 3.

Previte posted an impressive individual effort in the 400m with a time of 58.88. Her pace broke the Gordon record and was a personal best for the freshman, who also qualified for NEICAAA and ECAC Championships with her 10^th place finish.

Following that performance, she teamed with Amanda Tarquinio (Fr./Londonderry, N.H.), Leanne Beedle (So./Bethany, Conn.), and Leanna D'Alfonso (So./Gorham, Maine) to turn in a school record of 4:09.91 in 4x400m relay.
