Senior Ryan Utz (Rochester, N.Y.) did all he could to stage a comeback in the home opener, scoring five goals and adding an assist in a close loss to Eastern Connecticut State.

Gordon started off the season 0-2 and hopes to notch its first win of the year on Wednesday when they travel down the North Shore to take on Salem State in the Witch City.
