Rookie keeper Josh Spoonhour (Greencastle, Pa.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week as announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Filling in for injured starting keeper Tim Hardy (Gorham, Maine), Spoonhour recorded two shutouts in a 2-0-0 week for the Fighting Scots to help his team improve to 12-1-0 overall on the season.

The freshman netminder opened the week with a 2-0 win over non-conference Mitchell College and followed that up with a six-save effort in Gordon's 2-0 victory over CCC foe Curry College on Saturday.
