Junior forward Courtney Scott (Herndon, Pa.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week after posting record-breaking numbers on the front line for the Fighting Scots last week.

Scott was instrumental in leading Gordon to a perfect 2-0 record on the week, notching her sixth and seventh hat tricks of the season in a 5-1 road win over CCC opponent Western New England on Wednesday and a 5-2 decision over host Roger Williams on Saturday.

Behind the impressive 13-point effort over those two games, Scott brought her season total to 57 points and surpassed Gordon's single-season record for goals set by Megan Benevides in 2005. With 27 so far, she currently leads the CCC by 16 tallies.

The Scots stand at 12-4 overall, 7-2 in conference with four games remaining on their regular season agenda.
