Previte Breaks Two Records at NEICAAA Event

NEICAAA Results
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Three Gordon Track & Field athletes competed in a pair of postseason events on Friday afternoon. Corrine Previte (Danvers, Mass.) and Zak Flowers (Fountain Valley, Calif.) found their way to the NEICAAA Championships at MIT, while women's thrower Emily Caren travled out to Eastern New York for the Purple & Gold Last Chance Meet at the University of Albany.

Previte broke two school records on the day and finished in the top 15 in one event. The sophomore started off the day with a school-record 25.51 in the 200-meter dash, which was good enough for 13th overall. She turned in another impressive performance in the 400-meter race, again breaking a school record. The sprinter finished 16th overall with a time of 57.09, but was the sixth-best Division III athlete in the race.

In New York, Caren grabbed 10th in the women's hammer throw event with a best toss of 38.05 meters.
