MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Gordon College women's track & field team posted five top-10 finishes at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge to begin the outdoor slate. The Fighting Scots finished 24th in the team standings at the meet.
 

TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Anissa Lewis claimed a second-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.40 meters.
• Alivia Geraghty placed third in the hammer throw with a toss of 50.77 meters.
• Josie Hendricks set a new school record in the pole vault, clearing 3.20 meters to earn a ninth-place finish.
• Caroline Roberts placed 10th in the 1500 meter run with a personal-best time of 5:01.30.
• Gordon's 4x400 meter relay quartet of Jenna Lindsay, Anissa Lewis, Jazmyn Kasey, and Jillian Wivell finished ninth with a time of 4:31.98.

Gordon is scheduled to host the Jonathan Tymann Invitational March 27.
