Scots Compete at Scarlet & White Invite

Men's Results / Women's Results
BOSTON, Mass.—The Gordon Track & Field program took another step closer towards preparing for the outdoor season when a handful of Scots took part in the Scarlet & White Invitational at Boston University all day on Saturday.

Standout distance runner Damon Kilgore (Londonderry, N.H.) finished just outside the scoring in the 3,000 Meter event with a 15th-place result. Kilgore was the second-best Division III runner overall to RIT's Jonathan Pelzar. Kilgore was the top runner in his heat, beating the University of Vermont's Nick Salamone by a full tick.

Bobby Grinnell (S. Hamilton, Mass.) was just three seconds behind the pace of scoring in the 500 Meter race.

Corrine Previte (Danvers, Mass.) was Gordon's top finisher in any event on the women's side. The junior was a few seconds off the scoring pace in a tight 200 Meter race that was dominated by Division I competition.

Gordon is off until the last week in March when they head outside at the Bridgewater Bears Invitational.
