MEDFORD, Mass. — Gordon traveled to take on No. 5 ranked Tufts in non-conference play and allowed 48 shots in its 7-0 loss.
The Jumbos (8-3) came out fast on offense as they scored their first goal in the fourth minute of the game. They added four more goals in the first half to make it 5-0 at the half. They held the Fighting Scots (3-9) to zero shot attempts in the half.
Tufts added two more goals in the 51
st minute and 57
th minute of the second half. Gordon was also held without a shot in the second half.
Julia Altman recorded a career-high 23 saves.
The Fighting Scots next travel to take on Nichols in CCC action Oct. 13 at 6 p.m.
