Box Score WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon's men's tennis team hosted Merrimack in non-conference play and fell 6-3.

The Fighting Scots (1-2) went 1-5 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles play against the Warriors (1-0).

In singles competition, Frank Vega defeated Mason Casady 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 1, Mikhail Belov defeated Nathan Lookwhy 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2, Alex Fedorov defeated Jonathan Frink 6-4, 6-0 at the No. 3, Alex Slobin defeated Michael D'Antuono 6-1, 7-6 at the No. 4, Paul Weidinger defeated Will Jeffreys 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 5, and Peter Godwin won by default at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Casady/Lookwhy defeated Vega/Fedorov 8-4 at the No. 1, Belov/Weidinger defeated Frink/Godwin 8-3 at the No. 2, and D'Antuono/Kristopher Marineau won by default at the No. 3.
