Box Score WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon's men's tennis team hosted Assumption in its last fall match and fell 7-2.

The Fighting Scots (1-3) went 1-5 in singles play and 1-2 in doubles play against the Greyhounds (1-1).

In singles competition, Ryan Foster defeated Mason Casady 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 1, Max Francis defeated Jonathan Frink 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 at the No. 2, Danny Waung defeated Michael D'Antuono 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 3, Reb Mariano defeated Will Jeffreys 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 4, Jameson Keppeler defeated Peter Godwin 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 5, and Kristopher Marineau defeated Luke Whitehouse 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Foster/Mariano defeated Casady/Godwin 8-5 at the No. 1, Francis/Waung defeated Frink/Jeffreys 8-3 at the No. 2, and D'Antuono/Marineau defeated Keppeler/Steiner 8-4 at the No. 3.

Gordon will open its spring season Feb. 23 at home against Stonehill at 3:30 p.m.
