NEWPORT, R.I. — Gordon allowed 38 shots in its 5-1 loss to Salve Regina.
The Seahawks (3-1, 2-0 CCC) scored four of their goals in the first half. The Fighting Scots (1-3, 0-2 CCC) only attempted three shots.
Salve Regina started off the second half with their fifth goal in the 47
th minute.
Natalie Adamez scored a goal in the 64
th minute to put Gordon on the board. They attempted nine shots in the second half and put six of them on goal.
Julia Altman recorded a career-high 15 saves. Â
