WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon posted a .269 attack percentage in its 3-1 win against Salve Regina.
The Fighting Scots (8-5, 2-0 CCC) won the first set 27-25. The Seahawks (5-6, 0-1 CCC) won the second set 25-23. Gordon won the next two sets 27-25 and 25-21.
Amanda Snyder posted a double-double with 21 kills and 14 digs.
Mackenzie Hinds recorded 17 kills and nine digs.
Ashlyn Gergins recorded a career-high 52 assists and also had 12 digs. Her 52 assists are a school record for a four-set match. The mark was previously held by Hall of Honor member Sara Johnson who recorded 49 assists in a four-set match against Tufts in 2003.
Jenny Curtiss led the team with 24 digs and also had two aces.
Jamie Tafoya recorded five aces.
The Fighting Scots next host Suffolk tomorrow Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
