WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon hosted Wentworth in Commonwealth Coast Conference action and shot 46.2 percent from the floor in its 83-62 win to sweep the season series.

The Leopards (13-7, 8-5 CCC) started the game with a 21-17 run for a four-point lead. The Fighting Scots (13-7, 9-4 CCC) responded with a 23-4 run to make it a 40-25 game at halftime. They held them to a 33.3 percent shooting percentage and forced 11 turnovers in the first half.

Eric Demers scored 18 points and grabbed two rebounds in the first half. Jake Haar scored nine points and dished out two assists. Jaren Yang scored seven points and handed out two assists.

In the second half, Wentworth cut the lead down to 13 points with 16:34 left in the half. That would be the closest the game would get as Gordon outscored them 35-27 the rest of the way to seal the win.

Demers finished with 26 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Garrisson Duvivier scored 15 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and recorded a career-high six steals. Yang scored nine points, pulled in four rebounds, and dished out three assists.

The Fighting Scots next host Western New England in CCC play Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. The Golden Bears won the first game of the season series 101-83 at home.
