WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon hosted Eastern Nazarene in CCC action and held them to a 30.7 shooting percentage from the field in its 81-59 victory.
The Lions (4-7, 0-4 CCC) started the game with a 12-5 run for an early seven-point lead. The Fighting Scots (6-5, 2-2 CCC) responded with a 19-2 run to take a ten-point lead. They closed out the first half with a 13-8 run to increase their lead to 15 points and make it a 37-22 game at halftime.
Garrisson Duvivier scored 11 points, grabbed six rebounds, and recorded three steals in the first half.
Eric Demers scored ten points, dished out four assists, grabbed three rebounds, and recorded two steals.
Eastern Nazarene cut the lead down to ten points with a 19-14 run to start the second half. That would be the closest the game would get as Gordon responded with a 32-20 run to seal the victory.
Demers finished with 20 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two blocks. He now has seven games this season with 20 or more points. Duvivier scored 15 points, pulled in eight rebounds, and blocked three shots.
Jake Haar scored nine points and dished out three assists.
The Fighting Scots next travel to take on Wentworth in CCC play Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
