BOSTON — Gordon traveled to take on Wentworth in CCC action and recorded 25 assists in its 77-66 win.
The Fighting Scots (7-5, 3-2 CCC) started the game with a 12-7 run for an early five-point lead. The Leopards (8-4, 3-2 CCC) gained the lead with a 9-2 run. Gordon responded with a 27-11 to take a 41-27 lead going into halftime.
Noah Szilagyi scored 13 points and grabbed three rebounds in the first half.
Eric Demers scored five points and dished out five assists.
Jaren Yang and
Jake Hart both scored five points.
In the second half, the Fighting Scots stretched the lead out to 21 points with a 19-12 run. Wentworth cut the lead to five points with a 20-4 run with 5:20 left in the game. Gordon closed out the game and sealed the win with 13-7 run.
Demers scored 13 points and dished out a career-best eight assists.
Garrisson Duvivier recorded his seventh double-double of the season as he scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. He also dished out five assists and recorded three steals. Hart scored a season-high 12 points and pulled in two rebounds.
The Fighting Scots next host Endicott in CCC play Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
