Box Score MANCHESTER, Mass. — Gordon's men's tennis team hosted Stonehill in its spring season opener at the Manchester Athletic Club and fell 9-0.

The Fighting Scots (1-4) went 0-6 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play against the Skyhawks (3-2).

In singles competition, Thomas Bellio defeated Mason Casady 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 1, Trent Newman defeated Nathan Lookwhy 7-5, 6-2 at the No. 2, ManuRavichandrakumar defeated Jonathan Frink 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 3, Tom Buckley defeated Michael D'Antuono 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 4, Aaron Diamond defeated Will Jeffreys 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 5, Jeffrey Gagnon defeated Peter Godwin 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Bellio/Newman defeated Casady/Lookwhy 8-6 at the No. 1, White /Ravichandrakumar defeated Frink/D'Antuono 8-3 at the No. 2, and Buckley/Conrod defeated Jeffreys/Godwin 8-3 at the No. 3.

Gordon will next take on Occidental College in their first game of their spring break trip March 10 at 5 p.m.
