CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Gordon's women's track & field team competed at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT at Morrison Track Saturday and recorded six top-ten finishes.
Julia Drewicke finished second in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 12:36.52. The 4x100-meter relay team of
Maddie St. Julien,
Mikaela Fleenor,
Ariana Stanberry, and
Shineika Fareus placed seventh in 54.86.
Hannah Johnson finished seventh in the high jump as she cleared the bar at 1.49 meters and tenth in the long jump with a leap of 4.58 meters. St. Julien placed seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 10.44 meters.
Sinead Miller finished ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:15.03.
Louisa Dodds led the Fighting Scots in the 1500 meters with a 11
th place finish in 5:14.85.
Amanda Poulin placed 11
th in the discus with a toss of 25.80 meters. Miller also finished 12
th in the hammer with a throw of 27.82 meters and 17
th in the 100-meter hurdles in 18.26.
Olivia Buelow placed 17
th in the javelin with a toss of 19.87 meters.
Amanda Page finished 17
th in the shot put with a throw of 7.57 meters. Fareus also placed 19
th in the 800 meters in 2:27.52. Fleenor finished 22
nd in the 100 meters in 14.38 and 27
th in the 200 meters in 29.24.
Gordon will next compete at the first Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship hosted by Roger Williams April 28.
