CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Gordon traveled to take on Lesley in non-conference play at Franke Field and attempted 22 shots in its 3-0 win.

The Fighting Scots (5-3) first got on the board in the ninth minute as Luckson Dambo scored his first career goal. The Lynx (1-4-1) attempted their first shot in the 14^th minute with Anthony Farago's shot being saved by Brody Veleber. Gordon attempted nine shots the rest of the half with three being on goal. Michael Hahn's shot in the 43^rd minute went high above the goal to keep the game at 1-0 entering halftime.

In the second half, Stephen Heintz scored off a free kick to put the Fighting Scots up 2-0 in the 47^th minute. Dambo scored again in the 60^th minute to give Gordon a three-goal lead. They only allowed two shots the rest of the game. Andrew Medeiros' shot in the 71^st minute and Gerry Chica's shot in the 73^rd minute were both stopped by Veleber to seal the victory.

Veleber recorded a career-high five saves and earned his first career shutout.

The Fighting Scots next go on the road to play Amherst in non-conference action Sept. 25 at 4:30 p.m.
