MILTON, Mass. — Gordon traveled to play Salve Regina in Commonwealth Coast Conference play at the Rodgers Recreational Center and recorded 20 kills in its 3-0 loss.
The Seahawks (10-4, 1-1 CCC) won the first set 25-21 over the Fighting Scots (7-7, 0-2 CCC).
Mackenzie Hinds and
Amanda Snyder both recorded two kills in the set.
Ashlyn Gergins recorded six assists while
Jenny Curtiss tallied four digs.
Salve Regina won the second set 25-11 as they recorded nine kills and a .269 hitting percentage. Hinds and Snyder both had two kills.
Jordan Shaduk recorded a solo block and one kill. Gergins handed out six assists in the set.
The Seahawks closed out the match by taking the third set 25-9 with a match-high 11 kills and .429 hitting percentage. Curtiss recorded four digs while Gergins tallied five assists and two digs.
Hinds and Snyder both recorded six kills. Gergins tallied 17 assists, three digs, and one ace. Curtiss led the team with 12 digs.
The Fighting Scots next host Curry in CCC action Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
