WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon hosted Western New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference action for Homecoming and Senior Day and attempted seven shots in its 1-0 victory.

The Golden Bears (2-8, 2-3 CCC) held a 5-3 shot advantage in the first half over the Fighting Scots (4-8, 1-4 CCC). Sabrina Jandreau scored in the 29^th minute off a pass from Cara Goudie to put Gordon up 1-0.

In the second half, the Fighting Scots withstood five shots from Western New England and did not allow a goal to clinch the win.

Julia Altman recorded six saves and faced ten shots. Abigail Seay recorded two defensive saves while Briana Kowolenko tallied one defensive save.

Gordon next hosts Roger Williams in CCC play Oct. 2 at 4 p.m.
