Traveling to former conference foe Eastern Nazarene College this evening, Gordon College Women's Volleyball blanked their hosts by a score of 3-0 to improve to 10-8 on the season.
Jamie Tafoya led the Fighting Scots with 13 kills while
Amanda Snyder tallied 12 kills and 17 digs.
Ashlyn Gergins dished out a match-high 43 assists and
Jenny Curtiss registered 29 digs.
How It Happened
- Despite ENC holding the lead for much of the first set, Gordon buckled down after calling a timeout, trailing 21-14. After the break the Scots closed out the first on a 10-2 run to take the comeback victory.Â
- In the second, Snyder scored three straight points for the Scots by way of a kill and back-to-back aces to grab a 8-3 lead. ENC crawled back into the game, trailing 8-7 but the Scots kept them at bay for the remainder of the frame to take the 2-0 lead.
- The Scots jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the third set thanks to a kill from Jacque Fitzgerald. The Scots led by as many as 10 before taking the eventual 25-15 win and 3-0 victory.

- The Scots return to action on Wednesday, October 16 as they host Endicott College at 7 p.m.
- Jamie Tafoya notched her fourth consecutive game with double-digit kills.
- Jenny Curtiss booked a season-high 29 digs.
