Squaring off against Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) rival Endicott College this evening in the Bennett Athletic Center, Gordon College Women's Volleyball was blanked by the visiting Gulls, 3-0. The Fighting Scots drop to 10-9 (2-3 CCC), while the Gulls improve to 15-6 (4-0 CCC).

How It Happened

• The first set featured eight ties, with the final tie being 12-12 before the Gulls widened the gap after a 5-0 run to take a 17-12 lead. The Scots battled back, trailing 22-23 forcing the Gulls to call a timeout. However, Endicott was able to close out the first set with a 25-23 win.
• The Gulls raced out to an 18-6 lead in the second set and didn't let up as the visitors went up 2-0 after a 25-12 win.
• The Scots took their first lead of the third frame after completing a 6-0 run to go on top, 11-10. Down by two (14-16), Endicott tallied five straight points to take the 19-16 lead. The Scots remained in the hunt but the Gulls were able to finish off the sweep as they took the final set, 25-22.
