Gordon vs. Bates
  • Bates took a quick 5-1 lead before the Fighting Scots countered with a run of their own to go up, 6-5. Both sides traded points keeping it close but the Scots were able to put it away as Amanda Snyder got the final point in a 25-21 win.
  • The Bobcats took control in the next two frames as they won the second set, 25-12 before taking a 25-15 win in the third stanza to take a 2-1 lead.
  • Before the 13-13 point in the fourth frame, Bates and Gordon tied six times. However, Bates soon grabbed a four-point lead and didn't let up as they closed out the match with a 25-19 win to take the overall 3-1 victory.
