Gordon College Men's Soccer hit the road to square off against the Roger Williams University Hawks tonight in Bristol, Rhode Island where the Fighting Scots and Hawks battled for 110 minutes to a 1-1 draw. 

How It Happened

• After a scoreless first half, both sides were eager to get on the board. In the 62nd minute, Ryan Modzeleski drew RWU keeper out of the post, leaving the net open for teammate Luckson Dambo who tucked in the first score of the game, giving Gordon teh 1-0 lead. 
• Just over 60 seconds later, RWU's Ryan Miller (Jr./Hillsdale, N.J.) tied it back up at one-all. The Scots and Hawks were knotted at ones and headed into overtime.
• In the 97th minute, Gordon keeper Brody Veleber made a diving stop to deny a RWU penalty kick, preserving the tie-ball game.
• The Scots and Hawks ended the 110 minutes of play locked at one-all.

• After scoring his fifth goal today, Luckson Dambo is one goal shy of his career-high of six goals.
• Brody Veleber booked a career-high 10 saves tonight.
• The Fighting Scots host Salve Regina on Saturday, October 26 at 6 p.m.
