Gordon College Men's Soccer traveled to Dudley, Massachusetts to square off against Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Nichols College Bison where the Bison used an overtime tally to defeat the Scots, 2-1.

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots and Bison went into the half in a scoreless tie with Nichols outshooting Gordon, 5-3. 
• In the 75th minute of action, Nate Boyer found the back of the net with an assist from Max Farner to put the Scots up 1-0 with 15 minutes to go in regulation.
• With just over three minutes left, Nichols' Brian Czuba (Sr./Franklin, Mass.) knocked in the tying goal to force extra time.
• Midway through the first overtime, Nichols' Jacob Sargent (Sr./Bolton, Conn.) rocketed in a shot into the netting to secure the Bison's 2-1 OT win.

Beyond The Box Score

• The Fighting Scots will end up with the No. 7 seed in the CCC tournament. 
• This is the first win for Nichols over Gordon since 2014.
