Gordon College Men's Basketball concluded its 2018-2019 regular season with a 71-80 road loss to Exit 17 rival, Endicott College Gulls this afternoon in front of a roaring crowd at Endicott's Post Center. The Scots fall to 21-4 overall and 13-3 in league play which has earned them the No. 2 seed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) postseason tournament.

Garrisson Duvivier recorded another double-double with a team-leading 20 points as well as 13 boards, Eric Demers netted 18 points and grabbed half as many rebounds with nine, while Noah Szilagyi chipped in 15 points for the blue and white.

How It Happened
  • The Scots held the lead to open up the game until McDevitt hit a three to take the 21-19 lead with 12:04 to go in the first. Endicott led by as many as eight down the stretch, but Gordon fought back to tie it back up again after a Szilagyi three to make it 36-all. A trio fo three-pointers from the Gulls allowed Endicott to take a 45-40 edge going into the half.
  • Szilagyi made it rain from three to cap off a 7-0 Gordon tally to open up the second half going back on top, 47-45. The home team however got in stride from three-point land, relying on the three-ball to regain the lead yet again with 11:32 to go, 60-55.
  • Gordon kept fighting back poised to make a breakthrough to get the lead, but the Gulls kept the Scots at an arm's reach for the duration. The Scots climbed within two points six different times in the final ten minutes, but Endicott eventually took the nine-point win against their cross-town rivals.
