In Gordon College Men's Basketball second to last home contest of the regular-season, the Fighting Scots put forth a complete team effort in a 100-86 victory over Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent, Salve Regina this afternoon. The Scots improve to 13-1 in league play with a crucial match match-up Wednesday as they welcome Nichols for a 7:30 p.m. start.
Eric Demers notched a game-high 25 points,
Garrisson Duvivier tossed in 21 as well as grabbing eight boards,
Noah Szilagyi had 19, and rounding out the top-scorers for the Scots was Josh Riberio who scored 10 points and four rebounds.
Salve's effort was led by Cameron Collins (So./Oakdale, Conn.) who booked a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds, Mikey Spencer (Fr./Abington, Mass.) added 13 points, and Mike Palmieri (Fr./Bristol, Conn.) added 12 points.

 How It Happened
- Luke Meyer got the Scots moving in the early going, fighting for a pair of layups to give the Scots a 12-8 advantage in the first five minutes. Szilagyi hit his second three of the half to lift the Scots to a ten-point lead midway through the first.
- Salve's Spencer joined in on the deep shots, sinking a three of his own to bring his squad within five. The Scots however closed out the half on a 11-4 run behind a trio of three-pointers and a hard-fought bucket from Riberio to take a 53-39 lead going into the break.
- A Demers layup five minutes into the second frame gave the Scots a huge 19-point lead. Salve didn't go away, scoring seven unanswered points to trail 59-71 with 12:03 remaining.Â
- Duvivier brought the crowd to their feet after hammering home a monstrous dunk to take a 21-point lead with just under five minutes to go in regulation. The Scots tallied their biggest lead of the day after Riberio hit a contested three to increase his team's lead to 23-points. A Meyer foul shot, bumped the Scots to the triple-digit threshold, securing the 100-86 win.
