In their first of two games this week, Gordon College Women's Lacrosse was dealt a tough hand as they paired up against Rochester Institute in Englewood, Florida this evening, falling 19-6 to the Tigers.

Olivia McCarrick each found the back of the net once while rookie,
Brenna Otte had a hat trick in the loss.
The Scots look to grab their first victory of the season on Wednesday, March 13 as they take on Fredonia State at 1 p.m. also in Englewood, Florida.
How It Happened
- Senior, McCarrick tallied the first goal of the game, to give the Scots an early 1-0 lead. The Tigers rebounded by scoring three quick goals in a 60 second span thanks in large part to winning the draw controls.
- Moore converted a feed from McCarrick to give the Scots another goal but still trailed, 2-5 with 21:11 left in the first.
- Offensive powerhouse, Rochester Institute scored eight unanswered goals to close out the half with a 13-2 lead.
- Otte earned her hat trick in the second half as well as Guthrie collecting a goal of her own, but the Tigers took the decisive 19-6 win over the Scots.
