- Not wanting to get swept, Suffolk opened the third set strong, taking an 8-3 lead. The Scots had other plans, however, as the blue and white went on an 8-0 run to go ahead, 16-11. After leading 21-13, the Rams scored six-straight points to cut the lead to two. The Rams battled back but the Scots were able to fend off their comeback and take the third set, 25-23 to secure the 3-0 win.
