Taking a break from Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action this afternoon, Gordon College Men's Basketball ceded a 95-66 road loss to former CCC foe Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) to drop to 8-9 overall on the season. The Lions secured their 10th win of the season in the outing.
Gordon's
Parker Omslaer recorded 17 points and eight rebounds,
Avelino Damoura netted 14 points, while
Josh Crutchfield added eight points.
For ENC, Garrett Crandell had a game-high 24 points, Josh Rice added 23 points, and Luke Dagley tacked on 14 points in the win.
How It Happened
- The Lions went on an early 11-0 run to take a 25-9 lead with 12:27 remaining in the first half. Back-to-back three-pointers in the closing minutes gave the home team a commanding 23-point cushion heading into the break.
- Omslaer netted three of his 13 second half points as the junior hit the bruise and the bucket with 12:36 left in regulation.
- However, ENC hit seven three-pointers in the second en route to a 95-66 non-conference victory over the Scots.
