Gordon College Men's Soccer welcomed Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) competitors Nichols College Bison to their home turf tonight where they ultimately trounced Nichols 6-1 to conclude Gordon's homecoming weekend with a bang.

How It Happened 

• Gordon attacked early and often, but were unable to find the back of the net until Chase Gwynn took advantage of a penalty kick to put the Scots on the board 1-0. Less than ten minutes later, Gwynn put another one past the keeper to give the Scots a 2-0 lead heading into the second half. 
• The Fighting Scots continued to dominate, coming back on the field hot and never looking back. Gordon racked up four more goals within five shots to give the Scots a comfortable 6-0 edge. 
• With five seconds on the clock, the Bison were able to break through to score their one and only goal of the night however it wasn't enough as the Scots locked in the win 6-1 in tonight's crowd-thrilling homecoming duel.

• The Fighting Scots are back in action Tuesday, October 5 when they host the Pilgrims of New England College at 7 p.m.
