Tonight on Kanas Court, Gordon College Men's Basketball hosted the Gulls from Endicott College for the Fighting Scots' Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opener where the Gulls defeated the Scots, 82-55.
For the Fighting Scots,
Bryce Smith had a team-high 11 points,
Parker Omslaer netted nine points and added as many rebounds, while
Michael Makiej and David Massilon chipped in nine points each.
Leading the Gulls were
Jalen Echevarria who had a game-high 26 points,
Mike Levesque who had 12 points and
Cameron Ray and
Billy Arseneault who booked 11 and 10 points, respectively.
How It Happened
- It was an eye for an eye to open up the contest as Endicott drained a three on one end right before the Scots' Makiej answered back to hit one from downtown on the other side. Both squads traded buckets before the Gulls began to pull away to lead 27-10 midway through the half. The Scots came within 11 thanks to a made free throw from the charity stripe from Jordan Bretton (30-19). However, the visitors continued to shoot, eventually taking a 43-24 lead at the break.
- Opening up the second half, the Gulls outscored the Scots, 10-6 in the opening five minutes and used that momentum to secure the eventual 82-55 win.

- The Scots return to Kanas Court on Saturday, December 4 as they host the Leopards of Wentworth at 3 p.m.
